MSK Physiotherapist – Private Practice

Full-Time | Split role between our Bristol and Chepstow Clinics

£34–40K Basic Salary depending on experience + bonus + pension + private medical options + gym membership

North Bristol – Riverside Leisure Club

  • 3 air-conditioned private treatment rooms with access to extensive gym and rehabilitation facilities
  • An excellent environment for functional rehabilitation, return-to-sport and performance-focused care
  • Clinical technology including Shockwave Therapy, Compex EMS, Running Analysis, Point-of-Care Ultrasound and VALD ForceFrame and ForceDecks objective testing
  • Dedicated reception and administrative support

Chepstow – High Street Location

  • 2 well-equipped treatment rooms with dedicated rehabilitation/gym space, including treadmill, cable machine and VALD DynaMo testing equipment
  • Reception support
  • Strong local presence with easy community access and nearby parking
  • Services include Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Sports Massage and Point-of-Care Ultrasound

Your Role

You’ll manage your own caseload across a mix of acute, chronic, post-operative and sports-related musculoskeletal conditions.

Whether you’re helping someone return to sport, recover following surgery or simply get back to moving without pain, your role is to assess well, educate clearly and provide a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan that genuinely makes a difference.

You’ll have appropriate appointment times to assess and treat properly, alongside access to gym-based rehabilitation and objective testing where clinically appropriate.

We want our clinicians to take ownership of their caseloads and clinical decisions while also recognising when to discuss cases, ask for support and draw on the experience of the wider team.

What We’re Looking For

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience, including recent MSK experience
  • Confident in MSK assessment, clinical reasoning, manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation
  • Committed to providing honest, ethical, professional and client-centred care
  • A strong communicator who enjoys educating people and helping them understand their condition and treatment plan
  • Someone who takes ownership of their patients’ journey and wants to develop as an MSK clinician
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, discussing cases and asking for support when needed
  • An interest in rehabilitation, sport, strength and conditioning, diagnostic ultrasound or objective performance testing would be an advantage
  • Private practice experience is welcome but not essential — the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn are more important
